AgSeal
- Organic Pest and Pathogen Control and Plant Growth Enhancement
for Agriculture
AgSeal is an extremely effective 'green' product - completely
plant-based - that controls many types of insects, including mosquitoes,
flies, fleas and ticks. It can also control different types of fungi,
algae and bacteria.
Pest Control
It is an amazing, 'all-in-one' multipurpose product. While it kills
and repels insects, it is completely harmless to humans and
animals.
The difference between AgSeal and chemical insecticides is
that AgSeal does not poison insects, but works in several ways to
kill them:
- Osmotic dehydration
- Neutralization of bodily fluids
- Encapsulation of bodily fats
- Induction of premature molting
The Environmental Technology Team of the US Army in Maryland reported
that the formula "greatly enhanced and stabilized the enzyme
activity by 90-95%." Insects produce enzymes to shed their
exoskeletons. When insects come into contact with AgSeal, they are
induced to begin molting prematurely, resulting in their death.
Be aware that AgSeal does not always kill immediately on contact,
but can take several hours to induce death after contact.
One of the cheif benefits of using AgSeal for insect control is
that it can be used on plants at any time, even right up to harvest.
Because it is non-chemical and plant-based, it poses no threat to
humans if ingested.
AgSeal acts as a general fertilizer, enhancing plant growth and
working to remove toxins and chemicals in the soil, especially from
overuse of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, insect controllers
and petroleum run-off.
AgSeal not only kills insects, it makes the treated vegetation
'un-palatable' to them - insects will AVOID plants treated with
AgSeal!
In one test, a crop-duster in Lawton, Oklahoma put treated plants
in one end of a case, and non-treated plants in the other end, and
put in a number of plant-eating insects. The treated plants were
untouched by the bugs.
Watering plants with AgSeal at a ratio of 1:20 will destroy insects
buried next to the stem, their eggs, larvae, maggots and grubs.
